Former LAPD officer convicted in $350K Bitcoin home invasion robbery

A former Los Angeles police officer was found guilty of kidnapping a 17-year-old and stealing $350,000 in Bitcoin during a home invasion. The officer and accomplices, wearing fake police uniforms, threatened the victim to obtain a hard drive containing crypto assets and keys. Sentencing is scheduled for late March.
